Select Cigars is a cigar review site dedicated to the everyday cigar smoker. Guys just like you, not the GQ pretty-boys you see on the cover of high end magazines, not that there’s anything wrong with a guy that spends more time on his hair than most women do. It’s just that this site is not designed with those “Check out the label on my cigar” types in mind.
This site is for guys who smoke cigars because they enjoy them, not because of who they will impress. Now don’t be fooled. This site is not about cheap cigars, the reviews range from non-descript bundled cigars to the most opulent and expensive smokes available. It’s just written in language that we can all relate to.
I’ve read cigar reviews that could be describing a lemon chiffon mousse tort, served with a demi-glase of brandied pears, topped with crème frech’. This ain’t that kind of site. It’s written in plain language by guys just like you and me. In fact the whole point of this site is to give guys like us a place to express our honest opinions on what the cigar industry has to offer these days.
The reviews posted here are completely subjective, just because someone doesn’t like a cigar does not mean it’s a bad smoke. And vise versa, a cigar that receives a good review does not necessarily mean you’re gonna like it.
A site like this takes a lot of work and a huge amount of research. I’ve done my best to be as accurate as possible when listing size, origin and other specifics. If you see something that you think is incorrect please email me and I’ll make the correction.
Lastly this site is meant to be fun, if there is something you’d like to see added to the site please feel free to email me and make a suggestion. If it’s relevant to the site there’s no reason why it can’t be added. This site is an ongoing project. The more participation from you the cigar lover the more interesting it will be.
